top senate republicans revealed how well regarded Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is in the Republican party.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) suggested that Republicans may not run anyone to oppose Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) in her 2024 re-election.
Cornyn, who is one of the top republicans in the senate said he “would be surprised if Republicans tried to unseat her” if she runs for a second term. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is so well regarded in the Republican party that according to Politico Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) has repeatedly asked Sinema to join the GOP.
“No. Why would I do that?” the moderate Sinema told John Thune, according to Politico.
An OH Predictive Insights poll conducted in September showed that 40 percent of Republicans had a favorable view of democrat Sinema.
