Police captured man who allegedly stole entire 58-foot bridge

A man who allegedly stole an entire 58-foot pedestrian bridge in Ohio in November has been arrested and charged with felony theft.

The bizarre theft took place in Akron, Ohio last month, when the entire bridge disappeared from where it was being held in a field near the creek where it was originally installed.

police now say they have captured the man who allegedly stole the entire 58-foot bridge.

Akron Police Department: “Friday afternoon, around 2:45 p.m., a team of police officers converged on a property in Medina County and conducted a search warrant. During a search of the property, the bridge was found partially disassembled.”
